Diabetic wounds represent an increasingly problematic health problem in the United States affecting roughly 6.5 million patients and costing $25 billion dollars per year. Our device will accelerate the healing of diabetic foot ulcers using vibration, ultimately lowering the cost of the treatment of these wounds and decreasing likelihood of amputation.
