The identity vessel tablescape lives out in the open
Collect & Reflect
A collection of objects is a physical narrative of one's life journey. The Identity Vessel Table Scape encourages the celebration of our past, which structures our identity, through the reflection of physical objects associated with our memories.
The table scape lives in the home, out in the open, vulnerable and available for sharing, exploring with others, and within yourself. My exhibit has been curated to enhance the importance of interaction with the Identity Vessel Table Scape in the home, whether you’re the owner, or the inquisitive visitor.
I’ve created a system of containers to compartmentalize experience objects, souvenirs, gifts, keepsakes, trinkets, and family heirlooms. The set of containers consists of different materials, shapes, weights, and transparencies. Each shape and material is intended to represent different situations, people, feelings or chapters of life. Users are encouraged to make their own judgements about what to store in each container. The system encourages self-reflection with ease, creates an opportunity to share memories and moments with others, gives the user the option to compartmentalize (or not), forms a beautiful object that lives out in the open, and keeps private memories hidden if desired.
Decision, Decision cards and casing
Decision, Decision
We're raising children to believe that they're highly intelligent, gifted, and can do anything. While that’s incredibly encouraging, it’s also extremely debilitating later in life.
Americans have more choice than any group of people ever has before. The influx of available information prevents independent thinking, leading to a debilitating decision making process.
Decision, Decision includes 6 plastic cards used to assist people in making self determined decisions. The hole in the center of each card increases in size as the gradient gets lighter, helping the user to understand the order in which they are to be used. The cards come in a box to maintain the correct card order & organization, and for safe keeping. Because as we become more and more influenced by others and the overwhelming amount of available information and options, these cards can be passed down from generation to generation.
It’s time to stop hesitating and start living.

Wall & Care
Product development using two words drawn out of a hat, "wall" and "care." The production process was broken down, step-by-step, and instructions were given to someone else to manufacture to test the ease of understanding.
